Travel Advisory

87 km via NH66 — approximately 2 hours. Good road condition throughout. Depart at 7am to arrive at 9am before ferry queues build. 8:30am departure also works but adds 20–30 minutes of city traffic.

7:30am to 4:00pm, every 15 minutes. The ferry stops at 4pm — do not leave this for the afternoon. In peak season (December–January), queues at 10am can be 60–90 minutes. We time all arrivals before this window.
Outer courtyard is open to everyone — free entry. Inner sanctum is for Hindus only. Dress code for all: men must remove shirts beyond the outer gate. Wrap-arounds available at the entrance for ₹20 (returnable).
Yes — if your return flight from Trivandrum is after 6pm, we route the airport drop via Kanyakumari with no extra cab charge. It is directly south of the city on the road to TRV airport.

October to February. Clear skies, calm seas, clean horizon views. Peak season December 24–January 1 — book transport 4–6 weeks ahead. Monsoon (June–September): rough seas may occasionally suspend ferry service.
